| Ladies Auxiliary |
The Ladies Auxiliary is open to all spouses of Lodge members. It also welcomes those women who are of Itailian descent (must be at least 25%) but do not have a sppouse in the lodge.
The Auxiliary meets the second Wednesday of each month (excepting January and February). It is purely social in nature with focus on family, friends, and community.
We share our cooking skills, recipes and stories of our heritage and days gone by within our association. Our participation in community affairs takes us to donations to the Food Pantry at our local church along with donations for Thanksgiving baskets. Christmas time means donations of gifts to the men and women residents of a local Nursing Home. We donate packages often to our men and women serving overseas, old cell phones for Women's Resources and collect coupons for different causes. We have donated to Earthquake victims, PATH House and Statue of Liberty to name just a few and, of course when needed, we are there for one another.
The Lodge sponsors activities throughout the year and, in between, the Auxiliary gets involved with some some of their own. To name just a few - Pizza Night, Pasta, Sunday Brunch or a Covered Dish. (Great chance to show of our cooking skills). We also get together for lunch or a night out at a local restaurant. Of course, there are those times when the Lodge and Auxiliary work together and many of us get involved to maybe cook, clean, fix etc. - whatever needs doing.
